As a Design Engineer, you are responsible for the schematic design of machines, structures and systems. The goal of your work: To continuously improve products, eliminate procedural flaws and solve production problems.

As a Field Application Engineer, you are the link between development, customer and sales. Your goal is to generate technical solutions and successfully implement them at the customer. You will use existing products and concepts to work out system solutions for customers.

This requires in-depth knowledge of the product: You are familiar with all of the details from development to testing through to the sales strategy. As you will have direct contact with customers, you must have excellent communication skills.

Your tasks consist of:

  • Developing technical solutions for our customers
  • by working out product solutions for application and system requirements
  • Discussing the product definition with the customer
  • Establishing and maintaining customer relations

You have the following skills:

  • Ability to identify requirements before the customer does
  • Technical degree
  • Very good communication and moderation skills
  • Fluent in German and English

As a Maintenance Engineer, you make sure that our installations and machines run smoothly: You not only service the machines, you also help in the event of an emergency. You keep the manager and department head up-to-date on the latest status and notify them in due time should the project be delayed. As a Product Engineer, you will develop new products or concepts for the further development of existing products. You will plan, organize and monitor the project tasks and work on marketing and sales activities.

Your tasks consist of:

  • Designing and optimizing products
  • Responsibility for the production and the quality assurance of new products
  • Analyzing the design as well as the development and production process
  • Working closely with the sales and marketing team as well as with other engineers to find solutions to customer requirements

You have the following skills:

  • Degree in electronic engineering or physics

As a member of the technical marketing department, you will help our customers around the world use the latest products. You have the technical responsibility for a product group in one of our business segments.

Your tasks consist of:

  • Providing technical product support and helping customers with their calculations, for example, to determine the configuring for the current and voltage or the life expectancy of our products
  • Discovering design-in potential for our products around the world and acting as the interface between the customer, sales and the Infineon departments as part of the subsequent development phase
  • Writing a variety of technical documents such as technical papers and articles,
    technical fighting guides and application notes, and preparing product comparisons and datasheets
  • Identifying the need to develop new products for our customers and creating target specifications in close collaboration with product marketing, development and select target customers
  • Advising our customers around the world on technical issues so they can use our products optimally
  • Representing Infineon Technologies AG when visiting customers, at trade fairs, conferences and training courses
  • Analyzing a wide range of exciting and promising target applications such as wind turbines, central PV inverters, industrial drives, power supplies, the public transport system as well as hybrid and fully electrical utility vehicles in order to define the application-specific technical requirements

As a Test Engineer, you will make sure that products are of high quality and are successful in their markets – your role is pivotal to product development. You will develop and implement test procedures for products and processes so that a reliable assessment can be made of their functioning and safety. As a Verification Engineer, you will analyze the prototypes of electronic products so that problems can be recognized and solved before production starts.
